Strong colours are coming back, in this bloggers opinion! For too long now, people, both homeowners and professionals (architects and interior designers), have been playing it safe as regards the colours they have been picking for people’s homes and workplaces. All be it a trend for a while to have muted Autumnal shades and or varying shades of grey throughout your home. This is not saying much as a colour or affecting the inhabitance in any way (see our blog on colour and mood), but no more!
Strong colours are making a comeback. Paint entire rooms bolder colours, or give more gravitas to a room with a strong feature wall. Many of the painting suppliers are producing more interesting colours like the Dulux Heritage Collection. These colours are for all homes and if you are lucky to own a large period house these colours are for you too!
