Kitchen Transformation! Wooden hand-painted kitchen with new features

Here we have another example of what you can do with your old kitchen. This client decided they wanted to paint their old, oak kitchen, get rid of some old features and add some new ones.

The kitchen fitters, “Blackrock Kitchens”, fitted some new drawers and presses, removed old handles and put on new ones, and cut out an old wine rack, amongst other things.

Once the old handles were removed is when we started working on prepping the kitchen for painting. We filled the old holes where the handles were. Then we de-greased, sanded and primed the kitchen. After that, we painted 2 undercoats followed by two hand-painted coats of eggshell.

So remember, you can always do things to a kitchen you have grown tired of, get it hand-painted, change the countertop or change the configuration.
